Tooth Surface Loss Care Pathway A simple form outlining a care pathway – laminate it and keep in the surgery!

Tooth Surface loss Treatment Pathway A simple summary of the treatment pathway if treatment is indicated and the risk level associated with the complexity of the treatment.

Tooth Surface Loss Initial Exam and Review Forms The first page is a simple initial assessment form to be used if it is felt from the BEWE score that the patient has pathological wear. The following pages are an example of a review form that can be used.

Tooth Surface Loss Patient Questionnaire A simple form that can help ascertain a patient’s lifestyle habits that can contribute to a higher risk of developing tooth wear.

This November is mouth cancer awareness month! Alarmingly one person dies every five hours in the UK from mouth cancer and rates are rising.

You have ulcers that do not heal within 3 weeks, red and white patches in the mouth or unusual lumps or swellings in the mouth.

At Churchill Way Dental Practice we are committed to providing you with the most effective and latest clinical therapies available, we are delighted to tell you about our newly appointed dental therapist – Emma Williams, who will be joining us. Being a dually qualified dental hygienist/therapist, Emma has a wealth of experience in providing a broad range of high quality dental hygiene therapy. Emma will also help us reinforce the importance of excellent periodontal health to our patients. As a therapist Emma is expertly trained to provide a complete service to all our child patients and strengthen the practice further by being able to provide the lastest cosmetic fillings to all our adult patients. We are delighted to have Emma join our team and I am sure you will be delighted with her enthusiastic care. Developments in gingival health screening and periodontal therapies are ongoing in the world of dentistry. These advances not only positively affect the long-term stability of cosmetic dental work but also a person’s general health.
